Sergey Spivak quickly got the better of Marcin Tybura in their rematch tonight in the main event of UFC On ESPN 61, taking him down and submitting him withh an armbar in less than two minutes.

Round One:

The heavyweight main event is underway in Las Vegas.

Nice right hand from Spivak to start and another punch behind it. Tybura uncorks a couple of punches now.

Spivak moving into the clinch and gets an early takedown. He’s trying to take Tybura’s back, but he’s come off at an angle and so it’s Tybura who is able to transition on top.

Tybura inside Spivak’s guard now with most of the round still remaining. Spivak has other ideas though as he throws up an armbar from his back and as Tybura is rolled over he verbally taps out!

So Spivak avenges his 2020 unanimous decision loss to Tybura in style with a swift armbar submission just 1.44mins into the opening round.
