WWE and action movie superstar ‘The Rock’ Dwayne Johnson is not only hyped for the upcoming UFC 244 main event between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal, he’s also agreed to put the belt around ‘Gamebred’s’ waist if he wins their self-declared ‘Baddest Motherf***er (BMF) title.
“I will do all I can to be at this one, brother,” The Rock had originally wrote on Twitter after the UFC first announced news of the fight. “F*ck yes!”
Masvidal spotted that comment and saw his chance to get the star even more involved in the blockbuster clash.
“@TheRock I’m telling @danawhite i want you to put it around my waist,” Masvidal wrote. “305 all day 🙌🏼 #supernecessary.”
The two have strong connections to Miami as that’s where Masvidal was born and raised, while ‘The Rock’ also lived there for a while in his youth and later attended the University Of Miami.
“Doing all I can to make this fight,” The Rock responded. “If I can and you win, I’ll put the belt around your waist at MSG – consider it done. Already shaping up to be one of the biggest and most electrifying fights in @ufc history. Can’t wait.
