Tyson Pedro didn’t take long to finish Anton Turkalj tonight at UFC 293 in Sydney, finding a home for multiple left and right hands toward the mid-way point of the opening round to set up a knockout finish.
Round One:
Front kick upstairs attempted by Turkalj to start, but it whistles by his opponent’s face.
Solid calf kick from Pedro. A couple of missed leg kicks from Turkalj. Now he does land one, and then again soon after.
Reaching right hand from Turkalj. Pedro tries for a high kick then lands a low kick afterwards. Clash of shins as both men go for a low kick at the same time.
Hard left hand and a right behind it for Turkalj. He looks hurt as Pedro attacks again and finishes that combo with a body kick. Pedro stays patient then hurts him again with a series of punches, with a right hand sending him to the canvas for a KO Finish at 2.12mins of the opening round.
