The fighter salaries from Saturday night’s UFC 216 event in Las Vegas show that the promotion’s new interim lightweight champion Tony Feguson was the highest paid fighter on the night with a $500,000 payday.
Next up was former heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum, who banked $400,000 despite taking just 65 seconds to submit late replacement opponent Walt Harris.
Following closely behind was flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson, who took home $370,000 for the record-breaking 11th defense of his title.
Also earning six-figure salaries on the night were defeated main event fighter Kevin Lee, who trousered $250,000 and flyweight title challenger Ray Borg, who earned a career-high $100,000.
It’s also worth noting that even though Mark Godbeer didn’t fight on the event due to his opponent Walt Harris moving up to fight Fabricio Werdum on short-notice, he was still handed both his show and win money, totaling $30,000.
