UFC Fight Night 291 takes place this coming Saturday night, October 17th in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

In the main event Joaquin Buckley will try to put an end to his two fight losing slump when he goes up against Mike Malott, who is on a four-fight winning streak.

In the co-main event Erin Blanchfield comes in off two victories to fight Jasmine Jasudavicius, who has won six of her last seven bouts.

Kyle Nelson was TKO’d in just 24 seconds back in March and now goes up against the debuting Cristian Perez, who signed from the Contender Series a couple of months ago with a 15-2 career record.

Marc-Andre Barriault has lost five of his last six fights, so a win will be considered a must when he goes up against Kyle Daukaus, who has gone 2-1 since returning to the UFC last year.

Louis Jourdain signed from the Contender Series just last month and now makes his promotional debut against Timothy Cuamba, who has produced a 2-3 run in the Octagon so far.

Mandel Nallo suffered a 1st round TKO Loss in his UFC debut back in April, but now opens up Saturday night’s main card against Nate Landwehr, who has lost his last three fights in a row.
