UFC On ESPN 4 on Saturday night drew and average of 957,000 viewers for the main card on the channel.
That makes it only the third best rating out of the four ‘UFC On ESPN’ events so far, but it was still the most watched sporting event on Saturday and was the highest rated show on cable amongst 18-34 year-old’s in it’s timeslot and second overall for 18-34 and 18-49 as well as males 18-49.
The event peaked with 1,160,000 viewers during the main event, which saw Leon Edwards convincingly defeat Rafael dos Anjos.
Despite a reasonably solid preliminary card that included the likes of Raquel Pennington, Alex Caceres, Roxanne Modaferri, Sam Alvey and Ray Borg, the prelims only drew 548,000 viewers.
The fifth installment of the ESPN series comes early next month on August 3rd and has the potential to draw more eyeballs with outspoken welterweight challenger Colby Covington squaring off against former champion Robbie Lawler, while Jim Miller fights Clay Guida in the co-main event.
