Watch Dana White Talk About Chael Sonnen’s TV Deal Termination

Dana White appeared on FOX Sports 1 on Tuesday night to talk about Chael Sonnen’s broadcasting deal being mutually terminated by both the UFC and FOX.

“It’s never easy making a decision like this,” White admitted on the ‘America’s Pregame’ show. “Chael’s a person that I personally care about. I know a lot of people at FOX care about him, too. The guy had four banned substances in his system leading up to a fight here in Las Vegas. It’s a tough one – it’s one of those hard decisions you’ve got to make. It’s something we had to do.”

White also broke down the big fights on this weekend’s two UFC Events and acknowledged that if Sunday night’s main event star BJ Penn loses against Frankie Edgar then he’d push for him to retire.
