It doesn’t look as if Ronda Rousey will ever return to the Octagon at this stage, but fans who are still eager to watch her kick ass should make a point to watch the next episode of the TV series ‘Blindspot’, where she’s set to make a hard-hitting guest appearance.
Rousey posted up a promo of her guest spot yesterday in which she showcases her fighting skills, while confirming that the episode will air this Wednesday, May 3rd on NBC.
Blindspot is an action drama series currently in it’s second season that focuses on a woman who has lost her memory and doesn’t know her identity, but is covered in tattoos that the FBI discovers contain clues to serious crimes.
Rousey takes on the role of a prison inmate who has been incarcerated for ‘transporting weapons across prison lines.’
In an interview a few weeks ago, UFC president Dana White revealed that Rousey is hopeful that she may get a recurring role on the show if it gets renewed for another season.
This isn’t Rousey’s first acting gig, having previous appeared in blockbuster movies like ‘Fast And Furious 7’, ‘The Expendables 3’ and ‘Entourage.’
Those high-profile acting gigs appear to have slowed down since her two brutal losses in the Octagon, but this latest role could help her get a foot back in the door if it’s well received.
