Yoel Romero Phones In Live To Michael Bisping’s Radio Show

After Yoel Romero trolled UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping earlier this weeek by setting up a gofundme campaign in his name, the Cuban fighter escalated his war of words yesterday by phoning in to his rival’s Sirius XM radio show.

It all began when Bisping posted up a message on his twitter account claiming that he’d be discussing Romero on his radio show.

“Tune into @MMAonSiriusXM at 3pm for the #countdown. We have @madflavor joining us, plus I’ll be setting the midget @YoelRomeroMMA straight,” Bisping wrote.

Shortly afterwards, Romero responded on his own Twitter account.

“Let me guess “steroids” blah blah blah “I’m hurt” blah blah “I can’t see” blah blah and I won’t be a midget when I’m standing over you #ko,” Romero stated.

Given that Romero doesn’t have the best command of the English language, Bisping then called into question whether it actually ‘The Soldier Of God’ that had written that post.

“@YoelRomeroMMA @MMAonSiriusXM hey Yoel, I’m not gonna argue with your social media intern. But if you wanna talk call in 8447967874 #fake.”

“I’m on hold,” Romero replied, calling his bluff.

Sure enough, soon afterwards Romero was on-air and immediately began ranting, though the connection was poor, so it was hard to hear what he was actually saying, other than demanding that Bisping agree to fight him.

On the other hand, Bisping was coming through loud and clear and started calling Romero out about pictures of him from a previous UFC fight in which people thought he’d soiled himself due to the rear-end of his shorts turning a suspiciously dark color (which Romero later claimed was just water).

“Have you cleaned up your ass yet?” Bisping jibed. “Just looking at pictures where you (expletive) your pants. Hey, go wipe your ass.

“Shut the (expletive) up poopy pants for one second, this isn’t how a conversation works,” Bisping said as Romero continued to rant incoherently in the background.

Romero hung up the phone soon afterwards, while Bisping continued laughing as his wife gave him a row for being immature.

Despite their escalating trash-talking antics, a fight between the two stars has yet to be officially announced by the UFC, but it looks increasingly likely that Romero will be the next to challenge Bisping for the belt.
