Kickboxing star Tyrone Spong is one of the most notable fighters on the World Series Of Fighting roster and as such they’ve offered up a new promo video focusing on him ahead of his next fight for the promotion.
Spong earned a first round KO win in what was both his MMA and WSOF debut back in November and has kept busy since by returning to his kickboxing roots and winning the Glory 9 one-night tournament in New York just a month ago.
Now he’s ready to return to the WSOF cage on August 10th to headline their fourth event opposite Angel DeAnda (11-2) which will air live on NBC Sports.
There’s no doubt Spong is an elite striker and he’ll give anyone at 205lbs problems standing up. How far he can go in his MMA career may well depend on whether he’s able to adapt to the grappling and submission aspects of the sport as well though.
