Jack Della Maddalena picked up his 4th first round win in a row since joining the promotion tonight at UFC 284 in Perth, Australia by flooring Randy Brown with a big hook and then submitting him.
Round One:
Brown fires out his long jab. Low kick for Maddalena. Left hook and right hand from Brown probes Maddalena’s guard.
Front kick to the body from Brown and punches behind it. Calf kick for Maddalena. left hand for him. Brown walks him back by pumping out the jab.
Front kick upstairs from Brown. Body punch from Maddalena. Now a nice one-two upstairs from Maddalena and as Brown tries to scurry off to the side Maddalena lands a thunderous right hook to the jawline that sends Brown crashing head-first onto the canvas.
Brown dazed but not completely out as Maddalena drops hammerfists and then hops onto his back, sinking in a rear-naked choke to force the tapout and seal another impressive victory at 2.13mins of the opening round.
