Kevin Holland Wants To Fight Neil Magny After Losing To Jack Della Maddalena

Kevin Holland came out on the wrong end of a split decision result against Jack Della Maddalena on Saturday night, but he’s already looking to set up his next fight, having just called out Neil Magny.

“Props to jack [Della Maddalena] good guard I’d like to go watch it back!” Holland wrote in an Instagram story. “I see y’all talking about poor performance I really honestly thought I out worked due but (what the hell) do I know.

“For those that ride with me how about Neil Magny loser cuts there [sic] hair.”

Magny hasn’t responded to the call-out yet, but he did repost an article about it, suggesting that he may have an interest in the match-up.

The 30-year-old Holland’s loss to Maddalena came after he’d won his other two fights this year, having KO’d Santiago Ponzinibbio in April and then followed that up with a submission finish against Michael Chiesa in July, taking him to No.13 in the welterweight rankings.

As for the 36-year-old Magny, he suffered a one-sided decision loss to Ian Machado Garry last month, which continued the win-one, lose-one pattern he’s been stuck in recent times, having beaten the likes of Max Griffin, Daniel Rodriguez and Philip Rowe, but lost to Shavkat Rakhmonov, Gilbert Burns and the aforementioned Garry as well.
