Doo Ho Choi vs. Nate Landwehr Booked For UFC 310

A featherweight fight between Doo Ho Choi and Nate Landwehr has been booked for UFC 310 in Las Vegas on December 7th.

The 33-year-old Choi returned to action after a four-year absence back in February of 2023 against Kyle Nelson and had to settle for a majority draw after being deducted a point for a headbutt.

Over a year later, Choi fought Bill Algeo back in June and emerged with a 2nd round TKO victory.

Remarkably, that’s actually ‘The Korean Superboy’s’ first win since 2016, something that would have seen unthinkable back then after he had won his first three fights in the Octagon via strikes in the 1st round.

Now Choi will be going up against the 36-year-old Landwehr, whose three-fight winning streak was ended by Dan Ige last year on the scorecards, but he’s since earned a KO victory over Jammal Emmers earlier this year.

Choi vs. Landwehr joins a UFC 310 card that’s currently still without a main event after the planned welterweight title fight between Belal Muhammad and Shavkat Rakhmonov fell through due to the champion suffering a bone infection.

Rakhmonov still hopes to remain on the card, potentially in an interim title fight, but for now the most notable match-up on the PPV line-up is the co-main event flyweight title bout between current champion Alexandre Pantoja and Rizin bantamweight champ Kai Asakura.
