Yep, we’re back with yet another injury update for you, this time for August’s UFC 150 event in Colorado.
This time it’s Luiz Cane’s middleweight debut against Yushin Okami that will have to be put on ice as he’s picked up an undisclosed injury.
It’s not all bad though as the UFC have unearthed a more-than-worthy replacement in Rousimar Palhares who’ll be looking to get back to his limb-breaking best after a recent loss to Alan Belcher that temporarily set-back his title ambitions at 185lbs.
It looks like being another challenging match-up for former No.1 contender Okami who’s already coming off losses against Anderson Silva and Tim Boetsch – the only back-to-back defeats of his 26-7 career.
Under the circumstances Palhares Vs Okami looks like a very good match-up and provides good back-up for the headliner which sees a rematch between lightweight champion Ben Henderson and Frankie Edgar.
