Ronda Rousey is often referred to as the next big thing in female mixed martial arts, but as her star continues to rise the reality is that she could well become the next big thing in MMA as a whole.
Just last night she was featured in the first of a two part ‘All Access’ special on Showtime documenting her recent rise to fame inside and outside of the cage, while the Strikeforce 135lb female champion was also interviewed on Conan O’Brien’s show.
That’s more coverage than any of her male counterparts on this weekend’s UFC 150 event are getting, and yet Rousey doesn’t even fight until the following weekend.
