The ‘TUF 16 Finale’ event has suffered a last minute blow with the main card fight between Melvin Guillard and Jamie Varner being cancelled due to Varner being ill.
Word from backstage indicates that Varner was throwing up and so he’ll be unable to compete tonight.
Presumably FX will now supplement the main card broadcast with a re-run of one of the prelims.
It’s a disappointing news as this should have been an exciting lightweight fight, but the show must go on.
