Long-time UFC commentator Mike Goldberg is set to step in for his counterpart Jon Anik at UFC On Fuel TV 9 in Sweden next weekend.
Usually Anik commentates on all the UFC’s events on FX and Fuel TV, but his wife is expecting their second child soon and so after a hectic schedule over the past few months that’s seen him travel to China, Australia, Brazil, England and Japan to call fights he’s opted to sit this one out.
He’s not taking an extended break from the broadcast booth however as he’ll back just a week later for ‘The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale’ in Las Vegas.
Goldberg will commentate alongside Kenny Florian in Stockholm, with a light-heavyweight clash between Alexander Gustafsson and Gegard Mousasi set to headline the event.
