Josh Barnett took the fight to Frank Mir from the opening bell in the co-main event of UFC 164 and it paid dividends for him as he earned a TKO victory in under two minutes.
Round One
The co-main event is underway. Barnett presses forward aggressively with strikes. Mir digs his heels in and starts to fire back with some good offense of his own.

Barnett lands a couple of very nice uppercuts. He’s being very aggressive and really gaining the upperhand here. Not a whole coming back in return from Mir and Barnett continues to lay it on him.
Short punches from Barnett then he unleashes a knee to the head and Mir collapses limp to the canvas. The referee jumps straight in and stops the fight with 1.56mins on the clock, just as Mir stands back up and immediately starts complaining that it’s a premature stoppage.
