The UFC continue to pull out all the stops to make their 20th anniversary show at UFC 167 a memorable one with a quality lightweight match-up between Donald Cerrone and Evan Dunham now added to the bill.
Cerrone lost out to Rafael Dos Anjos less than a couple of weeks ago by decision and is said to have been keen to make amends for that as soon as possible which is why he now quickly finds himself lined up to fight again.
As it happens Dunham’s also coming off a loss to the high-flying Dos Anjos back in May so he too is keen to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.
This has all the making of an entertaining battle as evidenced by the fact that Cerrone has three ‘Fight Of The Night’, two ‘Knockout Of The Night’, and one ‘Submission Of The Night’ honors to his name, while Dunham has three ‘Fight Of The Night’ and one ‘Submission Of The Night’ award too.
Given the stacked nature of the UFC 167 fight card which already includes the likes of GSP Vs Hendricks, Evans Vs Sonnen and Overeem Vs Mir to name but a few, it’s not certain that Cerrone Vs Dunham will even make it onto the main card.
