Former featherweight champion Daniel Straus produced a swift finish in his Bellator 127 headliner against Justin Wilcox, dropping him to the canvas with a left hand with a single follow-up punch on the mat sealing the knockout win in just 50 seconds.
In the co-main event Karo Parisyan’s recent two-fight winning streak crumbled at the hands of Fernando Gonzales who floored him with a left hook followed by more punches to earn him a TKO victory with 1.43mins on the clock.
Elsewhere Rafael Silva used his wrestling to outpoint Rob Emerson via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28 x2), while Kendall Grove got back to winning ways with a second round rear-naked choke finish against former light-heavyweight champion Christian M’Pumbu.
