Alex Pereira may be best known for his elite-level striking, but he had a chance to show off his developing wrestling skills this week when he encountered retired UFC hall-of-famer Daniel Cormier in a hallway ahead of this weekend’s UFC 301 event in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
DC has previously teased the current light-heavyweight champion about his wrestling chops by pretending to go for a double-leg any time the two fighters paths cross, but on this occasion it seems that Pereira was ready to show-up the veteran, who in his younger days was an Olympic level wrestler before going on to become a double champion in the UFC.
