Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 65 event in Australia, the recipients of the evenings $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
On this occasion four seperate ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonuses were awarded with the first being handed to Robert Whittaker who took care of business quickly against Brad Tavarez courtesy of a 44 second KO.
James Vick also scored a performance bonus courtesy of a guillotine choke submission in the final seconds of the first round against Jake Matthews to remain unbeaten.
Daniel Hooker made a big statement in the final prelim of the night against Hatsu Hioki, putting him in all kind of trouble with a big head kick and then landing a blow on the mat that completed the KO finish.
Finally, the last Performance bonus was dished out to Alex Chambers who fended off a potential decision loss to Kaitlin Curran when she forced a tap from an armbar deep into the third round.
