UFC Fight Night 71 takes place on Wednesday night and despite the amount of cards the promotion is churning out this week, there’s actually a pretty solid line-up for this one.
The main event of the evening is a heavyweight encounter between UFC veteran and former champion Frank Mir and Todd Duffee who’s taking a step up in competition after a trio of first round stoppage victories.
in the co-main event we’ve got a battle of lightweights in and around the top 10 rankings, with current No.9 Josh Thomson facing off against the No.11 placed Tony Ferguson.
Highly touted former boxing champion Holly Holm is back in action at UFC Fight Night 71 against Marion Reneau.
UFC and WEC veterans Manny Gamburyan and Scott Jorgensen are set to go at it in the bantamweight division.
And rounding off the main card we’ve got Kevin Lee fighting James Moontasri at 155lbs and Matt Dwyer squaring off against Alan Jouban in the welterweight division.
