Cris Cyborg TKO’s Leslie Smith In 81 Seconds At UFC 198

Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino made short work of Leslie Smith tonight in her long-awaited debut at UFC 198, sending her to the mat with strikes and then finishing the job with ground and pound.

Round One:

Cyborg feels out with the jab. Short flurry and the right hook lands there. Leg kick now and a jab. Powerful body punch as she stalks Smith.

Smith misses with an overhand. Kick for Cyborg. Left hook lands hard for Cyborg and Smith is staggered by her blistering power and then dropped by a right hand behind it.

Cyborg follows her to the mat and lands hard, accurate ground and pound. Smith looks to be almost out, but then appears to be scrambling just as the referee runs in and brings an end to the fight.

Cyborg wins by TKO in her UFC debut with just 81 seconds on the clock! Smith is furious as the decision is read out, feeling that the stoppage came too early, but there’s little doubt that things were only going to get worse for her if the fight did continue.
