Charles Oliveira impressed tonight at UFC 210 in his return to lightweight with a quick rear-naked choke victory over former Bellator champion Will Brooks.
Round One:
Early leg kick for Oliveira. He misses with another low kick. Now a body kick from him, then back to the leg. Brooks with one of his own and then to the body.
Oliveira with a takedown. Brooks slowly moves towards the cage and attempts to stand, but Oliveira dumps him straight back down again.
Brooks wants to stand again, but this time Oliveira hops onto his back while he’s going upright and the Brazilian immediately goes for a rear-naked choke.
Brooks remains standing and tries to hang tough, but Oliveira has that choke in tight and eventually he’s forced to tap out with 2.30mins on the clock!
