Despite initial reports suggesting that the first Floyd Mayweather Vs Conor McGregor press conference would take place in London, England, it’s now been officially been confirmed that the first destination on the world tour will be at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Fans won’t have long to wait for the presser either as it’s scheduled for this coming Tuesday, July 11th.
“Just Announced. @FloydMayweather vs @TheNotoriousMMA press conference on Tue, Jul 11. Tix avail tomorrow at 12pm,” The Staples Center announced on Twitter.

“Promoted by Mayweather Promotions, this event is complimentary and open to the public for fans to see the first-ever face-to-face meeting between Mayweather and McGregor. This will be a star-studded event that will feature a live performance and special guests. We invite all fans to come out and be a part of history.”
The press conference in Los Angeles will be followed by further stopovers in Houston, Toronto, New York and London as the hype builds to a crescendo ahead of fight night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26th.
