Ovince Saint Preux has wasted no time in setting up his next fight as he’s now booked to fight Ilir Latifi at UFC On FOX 27 on Janury 27th in North Carolina.
OSP is only a week-and-a-half removed from his last fight, in which he notched up an impressive head kick knockout against Corey Anderson in the third round at UFC 217.
That was Saint Preux’s third victory in a row, taking him up to No.5 in the divisional rankings, while also helping to banish the memory of a poor run of form prior to that in which he suffered a trio of losses.
As for Latifi, he’s coming off a win over Tyson Pedro at UFC 215 in September and has won four of his last five fights in the Octagon, placing him at No.9 in the light-heavyweight ranks heading into this bout.
As things stand OSP Vs Latifi is one of the only notable bouts so far confirmed for the UFC On FOX 27 show, with the headline fight still to be confirmed for a card that will also feature Randa Markos Vs Juliana Lima.
