Former NFL star Greg Hardy continued to make a big impact on Dana White’s Tuesday night Contender Series last night, registering a swift TKO victory over Tebaris Gordon.
Hardy came out with all guns blazing from the opening bell and a right hand soon connected that dropped Gordon and ended the fight with just 17 seconds on the clock.
“I did what I said I’d do. I’m here for business,” Hardy said afterwards. “I just had it on my mind. Come out, put on pressure, apply my skill set. I wasn’t aware, I was in the zone. I was going to keep throwing punches until it was waved off.”
Hardy still remains on a developmental deal with the UFC however, so he will have to keep racking up the wins if he wants to make it to the big show.
Meanwhile, Devonte Smith, Kennedy Nzechukwu and Bobby Moffett all secured UFC contract as a results of their stoppage victories on the night.
