Darren Till will return to action against Jack Hermansson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 186 on December 5th.
Till fought former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker last month, losing out by unanimous decision after previously having made a successful start to his run at 185lbs with a split decision victory over Kelvin Gastelum in November of last year.
That had helped banish the memory of two disappointing defeats in a row at welterweight in which he’d been submitted in a title fight with Tyron Woodley and then brutally knocked out by Jorge Masvidal.
Like Till, Hermansson also holds a recent win over Gastelum, having submitted him in just 78 seconds last month.
Before that Hermansson had seen a four-fight winning streak over the likes of Thales Leites, Gerald Meerschaert, David Branch and Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza snapped after a TKO loss to Jared Cannonier.
Heading into this fight Hermansson holds the No.4 spot on the middleweight rankings, two places above Till at No.6.
So far Till vs. Hermansson is the only fight attached to the UFC Fight Night 186 card.
