Ryan Spann put Misha Cirkunov down twice tonight at UFC FIght Night 187 on his way to earning a 76 seconds TKO victory in the co-main event.
Round One:
Cirkunov feels out with the jab. He lands a right hand a head kick attempt that’s blocked. Cirkunov with a two-piece combo that lands clean. Unfortunately he then lands a kick to the groin and that forces a brief stoppage.
Spann is ok and they quickly go back to it. Cirkunov lands a right hook. Jab for Cirkunov, but then a heavy right hand from Spann drops him hard.
Spann lands a few punches on the mat and then opts to back up and let Cirkunov stand.
They go back to it again and Spann lands a left hook to the temple that sends Cirkunov to the mat again and this time a series of hammerfists on the mat seals the deal – Spann wins by TKO at 1.11mins of the first round!
