Chuck Liddell Arrested For Domestic Violence In L.A.

Retired UFC hall-of-famer Chuck Liddell has been arrested for domestic violence in Los Angeles after an altercation with his wife, Heidi Northcutt.

According to reports, police were called to Liddell’s residence in Hidden Hills, where they established that the married couple had been in a verbal argument that had turned physical.

Northcutt was listed as the victim, but did not require hospital treatment, while Liddell was taken to jail, with bail having been set at $20,000.

Liddell has been married to Northcutt for the best part of a decade now after proposing in November of 2010, and they have two children together. She is also often seen by Liddell’s side when he’s attending UFC fights.

‘The Iceman’ was one of the UFC’s biggest ever stars, winning the light-heavyweight title and successfully defending it four times, while being involved in some of the biggest rivalries of his era against the likes of Tito Ortiz and Randy Couture.

After being convinced by Dana White to retire in 2010 after a KO loss to Rich Franklin, Liddell appeared to settle into his post-fight life, but in 2018 he was lured into returning after being given the opportunity to have a trilogy fight with Tito Ortiz by Golden Boy Promotion.

It proved to be an ill-fated move though as though Liddell had handily beaten Ortiz twice in their prime, this time around he suffered a KO loss and hasn’t fought again since.
