UFC On ESPN 39 takes place this coming Saturday night, 9th July and we’ve got the full fight card for you below.
In the main event of the evening, former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos will look to build on two wins since moving back down to the division when he goes up against Rafael Fiziev, who is on a five-fight winning streak at 155lbs.
Both Douglas Silva de Andrade and Said Nurmagomedov come into their main card bantamweight fight off of back-to-back stoppage wins, coincidentally with one via strikes and one via submission each.
Jamie Pickett is coming off a loss last time out and now faces a late replacement in Denis Tiuliulin, who lost in his UFC debut back in March.
Heavyweight fighter, Jared Vanderaa holds just one win from five UFC outings so far, while Chase Sherman was released from the UFC just months ago after losing three fights in a row, but then was quickly brought back in as a late replacement in April, picking up another defeat.
Michael Johnson ended a four-fight losing slump last time out with a KO victory against Alan Patrick and now opens up the main card of this show against Jamie Mullarky who suffered a TKO defeat in his last outing after having won back-to-back bouts beforehand.
