Expect a less exciting fight with the same result

It will still be a good fight, but it will not play out like the first one. When Robbie is aggressive early it will leave him open for the takedowns and Johny will get them.  Robbie has some improved grappling, evidenced in his Koshcheck and Ellenberger fights, but it will not be enough to stop a lifetime of Big Riggs wrestling.  When Lawler gets taken down a couple times he will be more cautious and start looking to counter and that will slow the fight down. A slower fight means Johny will grind out a win and remain champion. Rematches rarely live up to the original. The technical brilliance that was Machida vs Shogun one, ended in the first round the second time.  The razor close BJ Penn vs Frankie Edgar was anything but close in their rematch. The war that was Shogun vs Henderson was dominated by Shogun until one punch from Dan in thier second outing. The only rematch that was just as exciting as the one before was Edgar  vs Maynard three. The last WEC match of Henderson vs Pettis ended in one of the greatest highlight reels of all time, but Pettis finished Henderson in the first the second time around.  Speaking of Anthony Pettis and first round finishes.
