Bellator 186 Results (Live)

Bellator 186 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event of the evening, Ryan Bader successfully defended his light-heavyweight title against Linton Vassell.

Vassell posed some problems for Bader with kicks in the striking department, but the former UFC fighter was able to use his wrestling to make his mark in the bout and that paid off in the second round when he got his opponent down against the against and landed ground and pound punches and elbows to earn a TKO victory.

Earlier, Ilima Macfarlane became Bellator’s inaugural flyweight champion after finding a finish deep into the final round against Emily Ducote.

Macfarlane generally edged out the action, but in the final round Ducote got on top. However, operating out of a high guard, Macfarlane went for a triangle choke and then nicely transitioned to an armbar to force the tap with less than 90 seconds left in the fight.

Earlier Phil Davis earned a clean sweep on the scorecards against Leo Leite in a relatively uneventful fight.
