Next up on the MMA calender is UFC Fight Night 30 next Saturday, an event that’ll air live on FOX Sports 2 from Manchester, England.
Headlining the card is Lyoto Machida as he makes his middleweight debut against Mark Munoz, with a win for either man equating to a major step towards title contention.
In the co-main event the UK’s own Ross Pearson will look to build on a two-fight winning streak against Melvin Guillard who’s recent form hasn’t been great with just two wins in six fights.
Jimi Manuwa’s made a signficant impact with two victorious since joining the UFC’s light-heavyweight division, and he’ll look to go 3-0 in the Octagon against Ryan Jimmo.
TUF: Smashes winner Norman Parke is scheduled to face another TUF competitor Jon Tuck, while Alessio Sakara finally returns to the Octagon hoping to break a three fight losing streak against the unheralded Nicholas Musoke.
Finally, the main card will be kicked off by the hard-hitting flyweight prospect John Lineker who’ll take on Phil Harris.
