This Saturday night ‘World Series Of Fighting’ launches it’s debut event with a solid card that will be aired live on the NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus) and we have the full line-up for you below.
Headline honors for the Las Vegas event go to former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski who’ll look to build upon a good performance against Tim Sylvia recently when he faces Devin Cole who produced back-to-back wins in his last two outings for Strikeforce.
In the co-main event Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson will attempt to strengthen his case for a return to the UFC after a three-fight winning streak when he faces off with D.J Linderman who’s enjoyed a similar unbeaten run in 2012.
Bantamweight star Miguel Torres makes his first appearance since being unexpectedly released by the UFC against Marlon Moraes who brings an 8-4 record to WSOF’s 10-sided cage.
Fresh off a victory at ONE FC 5, Gregor Gracie will compete against Tyson Steele who boast an impressive 9-1 record with the rear-naked choke being his route to success in six of those fights – something that will be tricky to pull off against a BJJ specialist of Gracie’s caliber.
Finally, the main card will be rounded off by what should be an intriguing debut for former K-1 star Tryone Spong against Travis Bartlett who holds a 7-2 record, but hasn’t fought in well over two years.
Check out the full line-up, including a surprisingly solid preliminary card, below.
