Anthony Smith made short work of Devin Clark tonight in the main event of UFC On ESPN 18 via first round submission to get back to winning ways.
Round One:
The main event of the evening is underway in Las Vegas.
Clark comes out fast with a right hand and then trying to work for a takedown, but moments later it’s Smith Who manages to bring him down to the mat instead.
Smith bringing him more over towards the center of the Octagon. Smith almost has Clark’s back here, but it’s a bit of an awkward spot and Clark starts to land some heels to his opponent’s thighs. Smith lands a punch.
Clark manages to scramble and get on top. Smith is crafty from his back and manages to throw up a triangle choke submission attempt and he’s got it wrapped up nicely already.
Smith manages to cut a nice angle to really get this submission working to the fullest and seconds later Clark is forced to submit to the triangle choke at 2.34mins of the very first round.
