Stefan Struve took just 15 seconds to TKO Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva tonight in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 87.
Round One:
Silva charges forward early and tries to clinch, but Struve lands a right hook as he reaches in and then throws an uppercut.
Struve sends a knee the midsection and Silva drops to the canvas. Silva moves to his knees and Struve blasts him with elbows to the side of the head.
Silva isn’t making any effort to move, so the referee rushes in and ends the fight. Struve has won by TKO in just 15 seconds!
Great win for Struve, his first stoppage by strikes in over three years, but this will another crushing disappointment for Silva, who’s punch resistance appears to have deserted him and has now claimed just one win in his last seven fights.
