On Friday night Bellator’s 100th event was aired live to an average of 700,000 viewers on Spike TV.
That’s up 40,000 from the previous show and helps continue the solid growth the show’s have experienced since a very underwhelming 437,000 viewers tuned into the season premiere.
In addition, the show peaked with 797,000 viewers during the main event which saw Douglas Lima KO Ben Saunders with a head kick to become their latest welterweight tournament winner.
While Friday’s figures were still a little off the pace compared to the previous season earlier in the year, things are starting to look a little more promising for the promotion on what’s widely considered to be the worst night on television for their demographics.
