Bellator 191 Results

Bellator 191 took place last night in Newcastle, England and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event, former UFC fighter Michael McDonald registered a win against Peter Ligier in his Bellator debut courtesy of a clean sweep on the scorecards (30-27 x3).

McDonald had come in 2.6lbs overweight for the fight a day earlier, but still managed to control his fight with Ligier on the feet and the mat despite appearing to break his right hand in the second round.

Meanwhile, in the co-main event another ex-UFC fighter Valerie Letourneau also got her Bellator career off to a winning start with a unanimous decision victory over Kate Jackson (30-27 x3).

Letourneau was able to get the better of Jackson on the feet over the course of three rounds in order to snap a three-fight losing streak from her time in the UFC and potentially put her on a path towards fighting for the flyweight title against Ilima-Lei Macfarlane in 2018.
