In the main event of the evening, Michael Chandler faced late replacement Brandon Girtz after his intented title challenge against current Bellator lightweight champion Brent Primus fell through at the last minute due to an injury.
Chandler took out his frustration on Girtz, with a big takedown in the first round later being revealed to have seperated Girtz’s shoulder, while an arm triangle submission followed soon after rendered him unconscious at the 4.00min mark.
A.J. Mckee extended his unbeaten career record to 11 fights in the co-main event with a clean sweep on the scorecards against Justin Lawrence as he used his superior reach to pick him apart from range over the course of three rounds.
Earlier in the evening, the late Kimbo Slice’s son Kevin Ferguson Jr racked up a quick rear-naked choke victory over Devon Brock in just 34 seconds, taking his career record to 3-1.
