Bellator 214 Results

Bellator 214 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event of the evening, Ryan Bader took just 35 seconds to KO Fedor Emelianenko and as a result win Bellator’s heavyweight grand-prix and become a two-division champion – adding the heavyweight belt to go alongside his current light-heavyweight strap.

After a feeling out process in the first 30 seconds, Bader suddenly stepped into a left hand that landed to Fedor’s jaw and sent him crashing to the canvas.

Bader then swooped on him and landed a right hand followed by a couple of hammerfists to seal a stunningly quick knockout victory against the legendary Russian heavyweight veteran, who had dropped hints earlier in the week that he was close to retirement.

In the co-main event, Henry Corrales ate a big uppercut from Aaron Pico early that buckled him, but then rallied and blasted his opponent with a huge right hook that knocked him out, falling to the mat almost in slow motion as more punches landed to end the fight after just 67 seconds.

Earlier in the evening, former WWE star Jake Hager (aka Jack Swagger) claimed a victory in his MMA debut, taking down J.W. Kiser and then submitting him with an arm triangle choke without even having fully switched to the side with it at the 2.09min mark of the first round.
