Bellator 229 took place last night in California and we’ve got all the results for you below.
In the main event of the evening, Lorenz Larkin edged out Andrey Koreshkov in a closely contested battle.
Larkin was actually dropped in the opening round by a spinning back kick, but he survived and was able to rally in the second round, where he put Koreshkov down with a knee after a body kick, but couldn’t find the finish he was going after before the bell.
In the final round Koreshkov was able to get Larkin down, but did little-too-nothing from that position, while Larkin threatened with a guillotine choke, and that helped swing two of the three judges in his favour on the split decision verdict.
Also of note on the main card, kickboxing star Joe Schilling suffered a third round knockout loss against Tony Johnson.
