A middleweight fight between Brendan Allen and Paul Craig will headline UFC Fight Night 232 in Las Vegas on November 18th.
Allen is currently on a five-fight winning streak, a run that began with a one-off bout at light-heavyweight which wsaw him earn a submission win over Sam Alvey.
The 27-year-old then dropped back down to 185lbs and followed up a decision win over Jacob Malkoun with with three submission wins in a row against Krzysztof Jotko, Andre Muniz and most recently Bruno Silva.
That’s taken Allen up to No.10 on the middleweight rankings as he now prepares to face the No.13 placed Craig, who sought a fresh start at 185lbs after having suffered back-to-back defeats at 205lbs.
So far it’s worked out for the 35-year-old Craig as his first fight in the division took place just last month and saw him earn a 2nd round TKO finish over Andre Muniz, though like Allen he is generally far more dangerous when he’s working for submissions on the mat.
Allen vs Craig fronts a UFC Fight Night 232 card that will also include Amanda Ribas vs. Luana Pinheiro and Chase Hooper vs. Jordan Leavitt.
