Bruce Buffer Tells Nate Diaz To Bow Down To UFC; Diaz Fires Back

An unlikely war of words has broken out between long-time UFC announcer Bruce Buffer and lightweight star Nate Diaz regarding the way the fighter treats his employer.

“Nate, I heard you made seven or more million dollars in your last fight,” Buffer said during an interview with TMZ Sports. “I don’t want to hear you complaining about being under promoted by the UFC. You should be thanking the UFC and bowing to Dana White every time you see him. [Endeavor co-CEOs] Ari Emanuel, Patrick Whitesell.”

“You got seven or more million dollars’ gross before taxes, maybe much more. Which I love knowing that you have, Nate. Please, I don’t want to hear any more complaints.”

As you might expect, Diaz wasn’t exactly pleased to be told what to do and was soon firing back at Buffer.

“Bruce Buffer wtf get off the Ufc nuts your bowing down right now tellling me to bow down? fuck that u keep bowing down,”
Diaz wrote.

“I Bow down to no one ever
for alll the money n the world…”

Buffer has since replied claiming that his words had been taken out of context.

“With all respect Nate that is not what I meant by saying the word “bow”, I meant it as a sign of respect as in when greeting someone, not a sign of submission as I’d never expect you to do that for anyone.”
