A middleweight fight between Caio Borralho and Yousri Begaroui has been confirmed for the main card of the UFC 334 event at Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 14th.

The 33-year-old Borralho went unbeaten in his first seven fights in the UFC, but last year he finally came unstuck with a unanimous decision defeat to Nassourdine Imavov that dented his title hopes at 185lbs.

However, Borralho has since bounced back with a unanimous decision victory over Reiner de Ridder in March that’s left him at No.6 in the rankings.

Borralho had been calling for a top-10 ranked opponent next, but instead he’s fighting the 34-year-old Belgaroui, who doesn’t current feature in the Top 15.

Even so, Belgaraoui, a former Glory kickboxer turned MMA fighter , has made a good impression so far in the UFC by winning all three of his bouts via strikes since joining from the Contender Series in 2024.

Borralho vs. Belgaroui joins a UFC 334 card that will be headlined by a heavyweight title clash between newly crowned undisputed champion Ciryl Gane and Josh Hokit, while a women’s bantamweight title clash sees current champ Kayla Harrison go up against former two-division titleholder Amanda Nunes.
