In the build-up to their fight at Bellator 170 in January, Tito Ortiz has repeatedly made reference to an old college wrestling match that he lost to his upcoming opponent Chael Sonnen, and now footage of that bout has emerged online.
The match took place all the way back in 1998 and saw Sonnen catch Ortiz in a head and arm throw before pinning him to the mat to emerge victorious, and you can watch how it all went down in the video below.
To make matters worse for Ortiz, the loss happened on his birthday, and bad memories of that day in his life have the UFC hall-of-famer determined to emerge victorious when he clashes with his old foe in the cage on January 21st on Spike TV.
