Chael Sonnen And Wanderlei Silva Get Into Fight During TUF: Brazil 3 Filming

Bad blood between TUF: Brazil 3 coaches Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva has boiled over with the two men having been reported to have got into a fight on the set.

“Wanderlei and Chael fought. Just today. They literally fought,” Dana White revealed during a media gathering in L.A yesterday. “While they were fighting one of Wanderlei’s guys sucked-punched Chael. Crazy s*** happened there.

While details are still scarce, White claims they “fought for a while”, before finally the brawl was broken up after the sucker punch from one of Silva’s team.

According to White he’s now, “dealing with fixing the mess” in the aftermath of what looks to have been one of the most dramatic moments ever in the history of The Ultimate Fighter reality show.

Rather conveniently, the news emerged as White announced that TUF: Brazil 3 will be airing exclusively on the ‘Fight Pass’ subscription service.

“The first episode of TUF Brasil will be available, on demand, on UFC Fight Pass from 7pm PT/10pm ET on Sunday, March 9, just hours after airing on Brazilian television,” according to a press release.  “Each new episode will then be available every Sunday at the same time.”

Fans in the U.S can currently access the ‘Fight Pass’ service for free, but come March 1st it will become a subscription service costing $10 a month, so it’s clear the UFC hopes that the lure of the Silva Vs Sonnen drama on this season of TUF will help convince people to part with their cash.

It’s also believed that the eventual fight in the Octagon between the two coaches will also air on ‘Fight Pass’ along with various other international UFC ‘Fight Night’ cards throughout the year.

In addition White has recently promised additional exclusive content for the internet based service, including a special ‘Six Weeks With Sonnen’ feature which offers up his thoughts on what’s going on behind the scenes on the show, and you can watch a clip from it below.
