Charles Jourdain Taps Out Lando Vannata In First Round

Charles Jourdain was able to drop Lando Vannata in the first round tonight in Las Vegas and then sunk in a guillotine choke to get the finish.

Round One:

Body kick from Jourdain. He steps into another body kick, but then Vannata lands a strong takedown in the center of the Octagon.

Vannata in side control here, but Jourdain scrambles and gets to full guard. Vannata quickly looking to improve his position, but as he’s doing so Jourdain is able to get back to his feet.

Hard uppercut lands for Vannata. Now a push kick. Jourdain with a high kick attempt. Vannata with a brief flurry of punches.

Big straight left from Jourdain drops Vannata. Jourdain looking for a guillotine choke as Vannata is trying to stand back up.

Vannata looking to fight that off, but then opts to drive forward to get on top, but he’s still stuck in this guillotine. He tries as hard as he can to wriggle out of it, but Jourdain simply adjusts his position to make it tighter and forces the submission at 2.32mins of the first round.
