Chris Daukaus TKO’s Aleksei Oleinik in First Round At UFC Fight Night 185

Chris Daukaus maintained his winning UFC record tonight at UFC Fight Night 185 with a first round TKO finish of Aleksei Oleinik.

Round one:

Clipping punches from Oleinik to start. Daukaus gets Oleinik to the cage. Oleinik reverses the position though.

Oleinik tries to drag Daukaus down into his renowned ezekiel choke, but it fails and leaves Daukaus to get on top if he chooses.

They soon opt to just go back to striking range and Daukaus starts to land big punches. Oleinik looks out of his element here as Daukaus blasts him repeatedly without reply.

Daukaus teeing off on Oleinik against the cage. Oleinik is partially slumped against the cage as hooks land, then a knee upstairs connects and then back to a relentless flurry of left and right hooks.

This fight could easily have been stopped earlier, but the ref lets more blows land before finally waving off the action, with Oleinik staggering off afterwards on wobbled legs afterwards, while Daukaus heads off to celebrate his first round TKO victory just 1.55mins into the fight.
